One-Liner Cascade

Purpose

This format tells the story through eight short, standalone statements that build on each other like a thread. There are no headings, no explanations, no pairs. Just one thought per slide, accumulating into an argument. Each statement has a specific narrative role, moving from scene-setting through to a definitive conclusion.

Structure

  • Eight single-statement slides, each a maximum of 60 characters. The sequence moves from establishing a fact, through consequences, reader relevance, a surprising angle, new evidence, reinforcement, narrowing, and finally the conclusion.

  • The carousel closes with a call to action.

  • There is no cover slide. The first statement opens the carousel directly.

Best used when

  • The source content has a strong central argument that builds toward a clear conclusion

  • A bold, typographic visual style suits the brand

  • The goal is to create something that feels different from everything else in the LinkedIn feed
