A protected library is an asset library that can only be archived, not deleted.
Protected libraries work like regular asset libraries, with a few differences:
Content can only be archived, never deleted. When an asset is archived, it will be removed from the protected library, but it will remain in any videos or carousels where it's already being used.
Assets in a protected library can be used directly on a slide, without importing them into a project first — the same way you'd use a logo from your theme.
An asset in a protected library can be replaced. New slides and new renders will use the replacement; videos already generated keep the old version.
A protected library can be created at the Agency level or the Client level, just like a regular asset library. An Agency-level protected library is available to all Clients under that Agency. A Client-level protected library is only available in that Client.
How do I create a protected library?
Go to "Asset Libraries" in the left-hand menu.
Click the dropdown arrow next to "New Library."
Select "New Protected Library."
You can't turn an existing library into a protected library. Choose this when you create the library.
