How do I use Autocut for Audio ?

Audio Autocut is an automated audio editing feature. It transforms recorded Audio content—such as Podcasts, interviews, and expert talks—into ready-to-publish, professionally edited Storykit videos in just a few steps.

Audio Autocut creators use Storykit’s Editorial Intelligence to transcribe, select the most relevant spoken moments, and populate them as edited talking heads with supporting written summaries.

The creators will add a headline, context, framing, and a strong call-to-action per the creator design.

How to use Autocut for Audio

  1. Click on New video

  2. Upload your Audio file (the Audio tab)

  3. Click on Next

  4. Select a Podcast Creator (Autocut for Audio). Podcast creators will be recommended and specially marked. You can read about the Autocut for Audio Creators here.

  5. (Optional) Add User Input to specify the focus, tone, speaker/context, design preferences, corrections, or themes you want the output to emphasize (Not available on all creators).
Examples: “Focus only on sustainability points”; “Use CEO’s perspective”; “Correct product spelling to ‘Storykit’”.
Note: Asking for correct spelling and such will not affect the transcription, since that is edited through the Talking Head tool, but will affect the script writing.

  6. Click on Next

  7. Configure your settings (Choose Theme, Format (the default format lets the creator decide format), Filter, Asset library) or use the default settings

  8. Click on Create Video

  9. Click on Create Videos!
