These are some of our slides with a colored plate behind the text. Adding a plate behind the text is a good way of putting the focus on your words without any styling to your added asset. By adding your brand colors to the plate, you reinforce your branding as well.

To get a nice flow in your video and avoid that it feels like a slide show we recommend that you work with 2-5 different slide types pending how long your video is.
If you primarily are working with slides with plates it can be a good idea to mix them up with some more neutral ones to get a better rhythm in your video.
When you have started to find your favorite slides create a storyboard where you gather all your favorite slides. When you start a new video project, just duplicate the storyboard and you will have all your favorite slides easy at hand.
