The Wipe Cover slide is a slide type that uses "alternating" plate colors and text colors to create an excellent sequence effect that moves from one color setup to another. There's also an Angle Animation you can play with.
The slide is great for both standalone and sequences.
Main Example
Basic usage
The Wipe Cover slide has two texts, Main Text, and Caption β Choose between Tiny, Small Alternate, Small, Medium Alternate, Medium, Large Alternate, Large, X-Large Alternate, X-Large, Huge Number, and Huge. The default size for Main text is Large and the default for Caption Text is Small. The font size decides what font that will be picked up from the theme.
When changing slide type, the text from one default text field will be carried over to another.
Depending on the Text size, you can fit different amounts of text into the slide.
Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.
General Settings
Animation Angle: Choose from Random and Fixed Angle.
Fixed Angle: 0 is the default value.
Duration: 1-15 seconds.
Slide Position in Sequence
The Standalone/Start/Middle/End behavior controls the behavior of the plates like this:
Standalone mode means that there will be only one plate β the Main plate. This will animate in and then animate out to fully reveal the asset.
Start means there will be a notion of the Next Plate, so it animates from empty to Main Plate to Next Plate.
Middle also means that there is a Next Plate, but the in-animation moves from the previous slide.
End means that it will animate out to empty.
Slide Order
Odd/Even: The potent possibilities come from also using the Slide Order control because it will alternate the plate and text colors. You will have a color-correct animation if you set odd and even on every other slide. Colors are set in Color 1 and Color 2 in the Color settings.
Slide Settings
Text Alignment: Align the text field to the Left, Center, or Right.
Text X-Position: Left, Center, Right, Fixed.
Fixed X-Position - You can also input a fixed X-position if you want to precisely place the text, which is useful when repeating slides. You do this by choosing "Fixed" in "Content X-position" and then adding a value in "Fixed X-position" (0 = at the left side of the canvas).
Text Y-Position: Top, High, Center, Low, Bottom, Fixed.
Fixed Y-Position - You can also input a fixed Y-position if you want to precisely place the text, which is useful when repeating slides. You do this by choosing "Fixed" in "Content Y-position" and then adding a value in "Fixed Y-position" (0 = at the top).
Color Settings
The color settings let you adjust the Color 1, Color 2, and Fine Print color. You can also adjust the opacity of the Fine Print.
