Rapid Text

Updated over 2 months ago

The Rapid Text Slide is a slide with a super short duration (from 0.1 sec) giving you the option to create super fast messages. Use it in a sequence and create spectacular videos.

Main Example

Basic usage

The Rapid Text slide has one text field, Main Text. Choose Font Size - Tiny, Small Alternate, Small, Medium Alternate, Medium, Large Alternate, Large, X-Large Alternate, X-Large, Huge Number, and Huge. The default font size for Main text is Large.

The font size decides what font that will be picked up from the theme. When changing slide type, the text from one default text field will be carried over to another.

Depending on the Textbox Width and Text size, you can fit different amounts of text into the slide.

Fine Print: You also have the option to add a "Fine Print" (300 characters) at the bottom of the slide. The text size is Tiny but can be scaled between 10-100%. The placement of the Fine Print will adapt to the placement of the logo (if the logo is at the bottom of the slide, the Fine Print will move to the top of the slide). Text Alignment - Left, Center, Right.

General Settings

Animation control: This is where you choose if the text fields (together), animates in and/or out. Using these controls allows you to chain slides with the same text content.

Plate behind text: Check the box if you want a plate. The plate is off by default.

Duration: 3 - 15 seconds.

Slide Settings

Use full width for textbox: Check this box to adjust the width of the text box to use all available width.
In a 16x9 format this will change the width that the text can flow before a line break. If unchecked the textbox will keep its width no matter the format.

Text Alignment: Align the text fields (together) to the left, center, right, or Justified. If you want to have different alignment on the two text fields, you choose Use Separate Settings.

Horizontal Content Position (X): Left, Center, Right, and Fixed.

Fixed Horizontal Position (X): You can also input a fixed Horizontal Position if you want to precisely place the text, which is useful when repeating slides. You do this by choosing "Fixed" in "Horizontal Content Position" and then adding a value in "Fixed Horizontal Position" (0 = at the left side of the canvas).

Vertical Content Position (Y): Top, High, Center, Low, Bottom, and Fixed.

Fixed Vertical Position (Y): You can also input a fixed Vertical Content Position if you want to precisely place the text, which is useful when repeating slides. You do this by choosing "Fixed" in "Vertical Content Position" and then adding a value in "Fixed Vertical Position" (0 = at the top).

Animation Settings

Animation In: Choose between Fade in, Slide from left, Slide from right, Slide from top, Slide from bottom, Scale up, and Scale down.

Animation Out: Choose between Fade out, Slide to left, Slide to right, Slide to top, Slide to bottom, Scale up, and Scale down.

Animation Intensity: Controls the intensity of the animation, and how distinct it is. The higher the value, the further away the starting point for the animation will be.

The slider can be set between 0-100, 20 is the default setting.

You can control the color of the Main Text and the plate. You can also adjust the opacity of the Plate.
